Happy Thanksgiving

From my family to you and yours Happy Thanksgiving. As a past due update we got everything straightened with the bank and were able to buy a fantastic new home. We're in the process of moving in. So back to leatherwork, art and various things inbetween in the next couple of weeks as we get settled in.

Moving.......

I won’t be taking any new orders until at least Dec 1. We sold our home much quicker than we anticipated and are having trouble securing a new home loan thanks to a Bank of America error which they admit they made but are dragging their feet on fixing. So, my family and I are moving into some temporary housing which makes it very difficult to do quality work. Supposedly Bank of America actually fixed everything today. I'm just waiting for the confirmation to come through. Forgive me if I’m a little skeptical but they have told me three different dates that came and went.

I hate to rant on this blog that should be about my leather work but....I just can’t resist. Bank of America made my life a nightmare for the last week and a half. My family and I truly looked forward to selling our house. We worked our butts off and sacrificed allot to make a sale happen and when it all came together Bank of America dropped a big turd on what should have been a celebration. Since last Monday I’ve spent about 6 hours on the phone, being transferred, hung up on and lied to in addition to more hours at a branch pleading with them to correct their mistake. Oh, they know they made a mistake but "it takes time to correct"…….ten flippin’ days to send a fax? I would STRONGLY advise everyone that reads this to avoid Bank of America and their services like the plague!
